An exploration of the Glowinski-Le Tallec splitting strategy for approximating the solution of singular nonlinear PDEs

This talk concerns the latest development in operator splitting formulas for solving singular reaction-diffusion equations. It will be revealed in our preliminary investigations that the nonconventional splitting configuration may not only provide effective enhancements to conventional splitting methods, but also introduce flexible ways for constructing multi-parameter operator splitting strategies for the numerical solution of cutting-edge modeling applications. Simulation experiments will be given.
